IMPORTANT UPDATES

Alban Lake Publishing wants to help you write your novel during NANOWRIMO!

Two of our editors will help to guide you through the process of writing your novel. We’ll provide a space to write once a week as a group, individual meetings to go over your stories, and help by email during the NANOWRIMO.

For a one-time entrance fee of $98, each entrant will receive:

  • A bag of things to get you started, including a gift certificate for time with Terrie Leigh Relf, writing coach
  • Free access to four group meetings, where snacks and beverages will be provided
  • One individual meeting during October to get a start on things
  • Up to four individual meetings during NANOWRIMO, held in central Iowa
  • Help over email at any time

In addition, all participants have a chance of their book being published through Alban Lake. Everyone who finishes their novel by the end of NANOWRIMO will receive help editing their book.

Sign up is open from April 1st to September 30th. There are only 100 slots available, so sign up today!

*Meetings can be held in person, over the phone, through Skype, any way that you are comfortable with. There will be a group chat over Skype at each group meeting for those who can’t make it in person.

I’m so excited that Tales from the Moonlit Path has returned! Some of you may remember that I was the poetry editor there for several years, and I may have accepted a poem or two from you! That said, I was invited to return as poetry editor! While the site is still in-process, submissions are being accepted. The first issue will be released in time for Halloween!

THE WEDNESDAY NIGHT COACHING CALL FOR WRITERS

Have you been searching for a supportive group of fellow writers? Look no further than my weekly coaching call! These complimentary sessions are one part accountability, one part motivation, one part networking, one part brainstorming, one part . . .

Needless to say, each call is unique and focuses on a variety of writerly issues – including drabbles! (And yes, most of the group’s participants are members of the Alban Lake Publishing community.)

Over the years, we have become a very close community of writers, editors, and such sharing our personal journeys, processes, and other aspects of our lives as they relate to our creative process  . . . Given this, we would love to have you join us. That said, in order to be on the call, you need to touch bases with YT first to ensure that you understand our universe and will adhere to the Boortean Honor code!
