While the guidelines haven’t been posted yet, they should be on or around the 10th of September, along with the “At the Lake” newsletter. Our Fearless Leader informed The Embassy that I can divulge the contest theme. . .
This is going to be an advice column from the 24th century! Sozar! Just imagine the possibilities!
If you aren’t able to travel back in time to experience the socio-cultural aspects of the “Dear Abby” newspaper column, then just know that you can give it a Google (or access The Mind Grid, if you have that level of security clearance) to discover Abby and all she spawned in the past – and what she will spawn in the future.
I want to remind you that your titles, which can be up to 15 words, provide an excellent opportunity to expand the scope of your drabble. Most of the entries I receive have one-to-three word titles. . .
And remember that as long as each drabble is sent in a separate email, you can submit multiple entries. With the exception of a few drabble writers, most of you are only submitting one tale. . .
Commit to writing a drabble a day. Okay, three drabbles a day. Four. Allow these drabbles to rest a bit, then return to them, re-envision them, if necessary – and then send them to YT, The Boortean Ambassador!
